1928. június 26-tól július 2-ig tartotta a Szövetség első szárszói főiskolás fiúkonferenciáját, teljes fegyverzettel lépett elő. A délelőtti előadások összefoglaló címe: A holnap feladatai. Témái: Házasság, a magyar középosztály problémái, kálvinizmus és nemzeti újjászületésünk, a jövő presbitere. A délutáni sorozat címe: Intelligens szemmel, hívő szívvel. Témái: Vallásosság a modern irodalomban, a modern természettudomány és a hit, keresztyénség és a modern filozófiai irányok, a református teológia modern problémái. Az itt megfogalmazott elvi és gyakorlati program valójában a Szövetség egész szolgálata idején meghatározóvá vált.
